Optimal Management of Energy Communities Hosting a Fleet of Electric Vehicles

In this paper, we study the problem of managing an energy community hosting a fleet electric vehicles for rent. On day ahead, service requests are submitted to community. Then, optimal request-to-vehicle assignment has be found, as well charging schedule vehicle batteries. A suitable model is presented and included in existing architecture. The overall management formulated bi-level model, featuring two nested optimization problems. requires solution mixed-integer linear program. To reduce computational complexity, heuristic presented. Numerical results show that participation grants remarkable reduction cost. adoption provides dramatic computation time required solve model. At same time, level suboptimality introduced appears negligible, being less than 1% most considered cases.
